D90 wide angle

I'm on the lookout for a wide angle lens for my D90. There's a bewildering choice.
Nikon 12-24
Tokina 12-24
Tokina 11-16 (favourite at the moment)
Sigma 10-20 (2 versions)
Tamron 11-18

Are there any others worth considering? And any recommendations. I'm on a budget so Nikon versions are probably out of my price range.

Nikon 12-24mm will be your best option and will hold decent price the best

I have the sigma and very happy with it.
read countless reviews and bought it rather than the tokina 12-24

Sigma 10-20 user here, great lens and can be had for just over £200 s/h if you look around.

I agree, the Sigma 10-20 is a delight to use.

Thanks all, I borrowed a Sigma 10-20 for my Northern Soul shots. I do like the thought of f2.8 across the range from the Tokina 11-16 though.

I have the tokina... 11-16... links to pics in the siggy.

I for one really liked it... Wide but not too wide, a little zoom action. Slight distortion in the corners (but you'd expect that...?)

I really like it at less than one meter from a car and you can get it all in *
