daily telegraph sunset

got inspired to go out late and try a sunset with nikon d50 that i've kindly been lent by vecsri who's also given me a few tips. Hope i'm starting to improve C&C always welcome.

Hi bidden,

I was also inspired by the sky this evening - its almost worth all the showers for these kinds of sunsets!

I really like this image. I think the large tree works well as a silhouette against the sky and it gives me a real feeling of stormy weather... almost dark arts in fact.

Suggestions - possibly too much dark space at the bottom of the image. Maybe try moving the composition up slightly so there is more sky?

I was going to but it involves a 5 mile bike ride to get past all the houses into open countryside - Wish I'd made the effort now!
