That is a very special shot indeed! Never mind about the composition, lighting, focus, etc, etc, I think the ability to see beyond to how we normally view things and then capturing it on camera counts for a lot.

no, i mention that in another comment. set out to try my hand at a stack but her indoors interupted me so i lost the plot :( straight out of the barrell this

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I suppose using many layers on PS could also do the trick.
