Yes
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this bag.

Looking to use it for snowboarding on runs as well as off piste, so i would prefer if i could keep my bodies attatched to my lenses. Just wondering if it would be possible to fit the following kit in it.

D2hs with sigma 70-200 2.8
d200 (gripped) with sigma 28-70 2.8
and a couple of spare batteries etc

my experience with Dakine bags has been nothing but positive, I've used a Nomad (mtb pack) and its been excellent, sorry I can't comment on the capacity!

Great bag, very well followed by boarders wanting to tog.

I use a Burton Zoom; bit bigger than the Dakine. Currently I get a D2X, two flashes, set of skyports, 80-200mm, 50mm, 17-50mm, 60mm macro and a 12-24 in there but now it's getting a bit of a squeeze. Picked mine up for £60 online. I've boarded without any hassle with mine for 8-hours a day and it was very comfortable.

I think there's a larger Zoom available too with just a tad more space.

Craikeybaby on here uses an f-stop I think - they're worth checking out but I think they're quite pricey.

Overall protection is always the key - I ragdolled it down slopes at ADH with body, 80-200mm and 12-24 without any problems other than a loss of street cred!! :)

I have used a Dakine Sequence for a couple of years now. Never boarded with it, but certainly walked and travelled with it. Still as good now as when I bought it. Well made.

Can't comment of water proofing, never really had it out in a downpour. I sprayed mine just in case.

Haha sounds brilliant specialman, does the burton zoom have a board strap as well? Just obviously if im fiddling around off piste could really use two hands :)

Any chance of a link to where you got yours so cheap from, looks like a cracking bag

Yep, the board strap is brilliant. Has leather padding on it where the edges rub. I've carried mine on it (I have a ragged Elan that is like a saw-toothed blade!!) without any hassle.

I bought mine last winter from Slide board store but I've just checked and they don't have them. I did get a proper bargain - £40 off at the time (think they're £85-£90 normally) - but ~TBH, I'd pay full whack for them, they're that good.

Mine is the standard 28l but the pro version just offers more space, even though it's listed as 28L also; reckon it's closer to 30l capacity but with better access.

I can get my 15.4" MBP in the laptop compartment with ease.

Just doing a quick scan on google using the serach BURTON ZOOM UK I got these results:

These look interesting too - don't know how it stacks up against the competition:

I'll take some pics of just how mine's configured and how much egar I can get in it for reference.

Mine's the black one by the way - you can get Tiger (camo) and Toyko (pinstripe).

I have a Sequence which is pretty neat. Builld and comfort on the Dakine bags is really good.
It's never been out of the house though so will be ebayed soon (only because I developed a love affair with fstop bags!).

Right, here are some pics - excuse the condition of the bag - it's getting a lot of use in mud and snow at the moment!! :)

D2X, 80-200mm, Skyports (in case), Tamron 17-50mm, Nikon 12-24mm, Nikon 60mm, 50mm, SB800 and SB26 in the main compartment. This can be removed to be washed or carried on its own thanks to an adjustable strap. Back opening is good for security. The straps are generous to wear a fleece, jumpers and a thick boarding jacket without feeling tight. It actually helped my posture when boarding because of the waist and chest straps.

This is the leather covering where the board edges go on the strap - very tough and the board strap also comes in handy for carrying tripods.

Main compartment in the top. I carry lens hood, filters, flash cords, batteries (in the fleece-lined pouch that comes with it) plus it has some zipped mesh pockets for valuable etc. There's another fleece-lined compartment on the top plus side compartments and two on the waist strap.

I'm actually looking to buy another bag at the moment (still keeping the Zoom though) because although it's good in the rain I ned something that will handle boats in force 5 seas. I work for a fishing mag and as you can imagine, when you're sat in one spot all day things can get super-wet. For everything else (snow, light rain) the Zoom is brilliant.

Heh i think the zoom will be perfect for my use size wise, was looking at the dakine but its just a bit to small.

Cheers for the pics and the info !
