the latest is the auto focus button when you 1/2 press when camera cold it gets stuck so when you go to take a shoot there's no 1/2 its just on or not if you know what i mean i drove me mad i went out other night for some night shoots but i couldn't even get and metering it just takes the shot i guess its just the casing but its been off that many times now no wonder

other stuff was
not focusing
not reading cards tried 3
then manual focus not working
then came back with finger print on inside of lcd
and the latest above

I don't think the shop keeper is required to provide you with a refund, unless of course you have a receipt which states otherwise. I'm not too clued up on consumer rights to be honest so it may be worth a read.

I know that you can take goods back if they're 'not fit for purpose' but I presume that this would need to be done within the first few weeks.

I've had a similiar fault with my Sony A300, were the scrolling wheel gets stuck, I'll change my aperture to f/8, move it right one click and it'll jump to f/22! Annoying!

I've found Sony service to be excellent. They did my A900 in a week, with personal follow ups, and regular updates (without being asked first)
