I seem to have "lost" my Sigma 10-20..... :(

I've looked everywhere but can't find it. I reckon it must have rolled out of my bag on when I last used it. I Can't think of any where else I would have put it :thinking:

So, I was thinking about a 24-105 L, but maybe it will have to be the 17-40 instead.

I'm not sure whether to sulk or scratch my head.....

Pretty sure I dropped an SB800 out of my bag once, never found it when I went looking !! very annoyed to say the least !!

Double check everything now and keep the zips closed.

I once left my 50d and 17-50 (only camera) in the woods at a group shoot to go hold a lightstand, came back and couldn't find it - sooooo ****y

got home and I had an email from one of the photographers saying some bloke who looked shifty was walking along with it and offered it to him (this tog was apparently scary looking and the wanna be thief though it was his). Real nice bloke mailed it to me in his cameras box and offered to drive to halfway (almost all of cornwall)

Keep a weather use on all my kit now. Have insurance also

I feel your pain.

Once photographed a wedding.Checked my bag a couple of days later and was a 15mm fisheye short.It was never handed in to the hotel and 18 months later still winds me up.Loved the lens but can't bring myself to spend the money to put a lens in my bag that should already be there.
Also left a full camera bag in a church yard once.I was heading to the reception when it dawned on me.Headed straight back to find someone putting it in the boot of their car.They were guests and were taking it on to the reception.It would have made for an interesting drive to the reception if I had got back to the church 5 mins later and had missed them.

Good news (sorry to dig up an old post)

I found my 10-20 ! :banana::woot:

I did some shots in the garage (sorry, studio) and had left it in with all my lighting gear....

Bad news is that I now don't have an excuse to go & buy a new lens :shake:

Steve

That's brilliant and don'tbe daft, you now have even more reason to get a new lens. You'd have had to replace that one right? So you can take the ring fence off the money and go for the 24-105. :thumbs:
