Very nice. Im very jealous. Been out wading through the wet grass at a couple of places today looking for these without any luck whatsoever.
 
shame about the tail on the first image being chopped off though

I agree. Problem was with the lack of a tripod, hand holding a 180mm macro lens (270mm effective), at these close distances, meant not only was the subject drifting in and out of focus (lots of OOF shots), but I was also waving around as well.

Next time I must remember my tripod, there really is no substitute.

To be honest where these were taken (Risley Moss Nature Reserve in Warrington Cheshire), there were dozens about. I met a local photographer who informed me that they only appeared about 3-4 days ago.
