So I was out taking a few photos of the local frozen lake today and this happened. Unfortunately I only have the kit lens and my ability to take animals on the move is, at best, minimal. I was also in manual at the time having just taken photos of a signet that was much nearer. Anyhoo, this signet was having some fun. Use the big tree in the background as a reference for movement. Most of these have had a decent crop.
Poor thing never took a single step, he just had limbs flying all over the place, skidded a good 10 yards or so.
