Sitting here tonight just thinking, I'm bored and looking for something to do :banghead:. Which made me realise something and that's that I must have 2 of the most frustrating hobbies it is possible to have at times. I dread to think how many £1000s I have tied in up in photography gear now, mainly lenses but a decent camera nowadays too. I also have a motorbike, which I took the battery off of last night as motorbike batteries don't do well just sat on the bike over winter. I'm not a fair weather only biker but I do like to keep my bike nice and there's salt down on the roads here now, so my bike will be mothballed for a while .
So those are the 2 hobbies that whilst often, are very rewarding, sometimes they just leave me longing for something to do. I could do some tabletop or get some lights and have a dabble with studio but whilst I have respect for both genres, they don't really float my boat.
Getting out there isn't easy at the best of times and is now more difficult with the shorter daylight hours (and it's only going to get worse for a while ), with the weekends being the only real opportunities to get out.
So apart from longing for longer daylight hours, or the weekends, which might provide early morning opportunities, what else is there to do?
Answers on a postard please.
