...or whoever your gift bearing entity of choice may be!

Please could you bring me...

OK, it's 45 days (plus a few hours I think) until the fat geezer (NOT Marcel!!!) squeezes himself down assorted chimneys and delivers whatever our hearts desire, so what do you want him to bring? Bear in mind that he can't supply a 5-5,000mm f/1.2 zoom or a 200MP Micro 4/3 hybrid - he's only got what actually exists in REAL LIFE! Can we assume that world peace and an end to poverty and famine are also not possible for him to deliver - be selfish in your desires! It has to fit in his sack though and for the sake of argument, that means that it has to be deliverable by post and liftable by a "normal" person.

2 gifts each.

Mine would be a Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8 and a Zigview Live.

i personally don't want anything for christmas that can fit in his sack!

Peace on earth and goodwill to all men.

Failing that, a 70-200mm f2.8 IS will do. :D

I would like a Nikkor 200-400 F4 and a ticket to join a wildlife adventure in the Antarctic please. Is that selfish enough?

A gripped D300 is my reality choice.
Beyond reality would be opening a box to find a piece of fine glass-ware, namely a Nikkor 400mm f2.8 G ED VR AF-S :)

While we're making wishes, I'd like to get majority shares in Nikon, AEG, and Microsoft ... may be a stake in the world's oil fields too ...... or is our Santa only listening if we ask for camera stuff?

A nikon 200-400vr and a brietling steelfish. I would be the happiest person alive, not that it is going to happen, so I can stay a grumpy git.:D

Not being too greedy a :geek:Canon EF 600mm f/4L IS USM:geek:..

Dave

Oh forgot ....... another ticket to Kenya please to finish off what I did not do before LOL

I don`t like christmas, it depresses me to hell and back..............

;)

Can't think what on earth made you think of such a subject Nod :p ;)

However, I shall be very upfront, just in case the big guy is reading, wouldn't want him to make a mistake by only dropping hints :D

A Nikon 70-200 F2.8VR for starters please, nicely topped off with a D700 would do me nicely this year. :D

Sod the camera stuff, i want an AC Cobra please!!

i'd like a nikkor 300mm f4 plus 1.4 and 1.7 tcs, a 105mm micro and a grip for my d300.......but i know i've got more chance of the queen coming around at 3pm and giving me a bj :gag:

100% certain its a Canon 50D for me, i know this because to be sure of getting it i`ve just ordered it from Camerabox so crimbo has come early here :):):)

I only want a 1d Mark 4...oh and a 600mm f4 IS :nuts::geek:

 @ brookers

I don't want anything that has been near Santa's sac thank you very much!!!
So a boxed D3 would do nicely thanks, Oh, and a decent big aperture zoom, and a nice flash,
and----

and----

and---

i want anything that will start off the collection of things that i require for studio photography

A Canon 17-55mm IS f/2.8 and 6 million on the lottery.
Failing that a new scarf and a pair of Lowepro gloves.

In the last 12 months I've bought a D300, D100, D80 and another D300, a Sigma 17-35mm, Nikon 70-300mm, Sigma 170-500mm, Tokina 500mm, Tamron 70-200mm, Nikon 70-200mm, Nikon 18-200mm, Nikon 50mm f1.8, Nikon 50mm f1.4, Nikon 24-120mm, Tamron 17-50mm, Nikon SB800, Nikon SB600 <takes breath>, a Camlink tripod, 7dayshop monopod, gary fong lightsphere, Lowepro AW300, Lowepro AW200, GEM Backpack, 2 lightstands, 2 shoot through umbrellas with brackets, 9 memory cards, 3 D300 batteries and 24 rechargable AA batteries.

I'm not sure there is anything left that I could possibly ask Santa for...............except a D700 and a Nikon 24-70mm f2.8.

Off the top of my head D3 x2
200-400 Zoom
600mm F4
Oh and a lens cloth please:)

Canon EF 70-300mm L with 5 stop image stabilisation. F2.8 is NOT required since I do most of my photography in broad daylight.

If there are any of Freeloaderjoe's 6 foot 2 inch brunettes left over, can I have one too?

a paid for round the world trip... with a private helicopter which is willing to stop at any possible location i want to photograph:)

thatl do nicely to keep me occupied for a year:)

I've got a few requests:

1) A D300s (see my other thread)
2) Another SB800
3) A winning lottery ticket
4) A few spare hours to play COD: MW2 in between nappy changes :)

I'll play,
A 70-200 VR2 and a D700 to stick it on (save me changing lenses!)

Oh and some kind of anti IED miracle vehicle for the boys in the 'stan

Dead simple, something to stop this MS getting a grip and screwing me over.

Failing that, the Panny 7-14mm will do, thank you very much.
Early xmas tomorrow, pick up my GF1, actually very excited about it.
