Saw this shot and really liked the abandoned feel to it with the run down garage, but the chair and the table giving a feel of some sort of implied human presence.

And then, I saw the sign and saw the humour in it. I'm sure you've guessed it doesn't say 'dies' but actually says 'diesel', but of course i've cropped it to have the sign as below.

Does the sign and the humour work? Or does it look cheesy? Do either shot work for you??

With your thread title,the second shot fits the bill perfectly....just wondering if b&w would add to the feel of the place

thanks for the replies guys. mono definitely works and am working on it. wondering if it wouldn't work so well without the title?
