Ok so... ive moved to the other side... Im now with Nikon!

Purchased a d300s today along with a nikon 50mm 1.4 and a sigma 24-70 2.8

I really need to get a job asap now.... im praying.

Why the change of brand though if you don't mind being nosey, rather than the 7D?

well originally i was going for a full frame but end of the day i was trying to be abit more realistic... If i buy full frame im going to be spending serious amounts and not having a job at the moment i cant justify it.

So i weighed up the 7d against the d300s and personally felt the d300s felt better in the hands, i love the low light focus and results on the d300 and d700 and it seemed to just be overall better for me.

It was only once i came out of the shop my old man lent me some money to get the 24-70mm. Obviously caught him in a good mood!
