Decent IPS monitor

Hi all

I'm looking at some recommendations for a good quality 21"-23" IPS monitor that won't cost the earth. Looking to get my daughter a PC for college work so taking the opportunity to shuffle my old Dell monitor that's currently my second. So I need something that won't cost the earth but still give good colour consistency and accuracy.

I've been pointed towards the Dell U2312HM but it's been out a while now so am wondering whether the newer IPS screens could be even better for comparable price.

I used to have a Dell IPS monitor and was very pleased with it. I'm sure that one would be great too, looks to get pretty good reviews on amazon. As a cheaper alternative, there is the LG Flatron IPS234 / IPS235 (I have the latter) and find it to be great. The only let down on it is the stand which isn't as sturdy or adjustable but could be replaced later. Amazon have it for £130.
