just deciding weather to buy the Canon EOS 550D and 430EX II speedlite , or do i remove the flash gun from the basket I'm confused

Well... That depends on whether you want the flashgun?!

The 480ex will open up new opportunities for you, especially with OCF. If your budget allows it, I'd suggest you get one.

I consider a flashgun capable of HSS essential but mainly because I take a lot of outdoor portraits. I'd definitely have the flash!

When you compare on the onboard flash results to vertical or angled bounce from a flashgun, you will be glad you got the gun..and you could very well end up with more than one

i decided to buy the flashgun, warehouse express is very fast for service, i reccomend them, it was dispatched within 45min

i receve it tommorow before 12am (i payed for faster delivery)

my next buy will be a 55-250mm tele

I would have bought the 55-250mm first, probably because I only used my 430 Mk1 about three times before It was sold on here, can't remember the last time I used the pop up flash either

Don't think i'm much of a strobist

i can afford the 55-250mm but i need other things as well, but it will only be a few weeks , i got a free bag as well from werehouse express worth £80
