Okay, here's the situation:
I shoot mainly portraits, glamour and mountain biking events, but sometimes dabble in landscapes.
I use an EOS 40D with 30D as back up but really miss my old 1n (100% viewfinder, built like a tank etc.) so I fancy either a used 1Ds classic - to allow some nice really wide angle shots and full frame when shooting portraits and glamour, but may swing towards a 1D mk2 for the 8.3fps and bigger buffer (for the biking events) and it's 'only' a 1.3 crop factor rather than 1.6.
HOWEVER - I have seen a Leica M6 for an absolute steal! (seriously MENTAL price, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered looking too much at it) This has got me thinking - should I go with a 1d - either S or Mk2 - to use when making a couple of quid OR do I get the M6 just for me to play with?
As the title goes - decisions, decisions - any advice? (cos I'm driving myself nuts thinking about it - heart or head?)
Thanks in advance
Kev
