Decreasing file size for large sized images

Hi all,

Urgent one...

Started a new job this week working with large sized prints and I have a bit of drama.

I have a Tiff image that is 4 gig in size and need to send this to the printer by midday tomorrow. Are there any programs or processes I can utilise in Photoshop to bring the file size down? The size is 262cm x 250cm

Ask the printer what dpi they require, I'd imagine it's pretty low as it will be viewed from distance? Jpeg will take it down a good bit too.

Yes you can resize it in photoshop, (and many other programs). But you need to know what size to resize it to.
