Deer at Nara

Hi,

First post here, I was looking at some of the lovely work you guys put up and I thought I'd try my hand and hopefully get some pointers.

This was taken in September 2007 at Nara National Park outside of Kyoto Japan with my Nikon D200 and 18-200. There's been no post processing on this, just dcraw NEF -> JPEG conversion and this has been resized for a 12x8 print.

I would just like to preface this photo with the fact that I was pretty new to the whole "taking photography semi-seriously" thing so I'm sure there are a lot of schoolboy errors here.

Anyhow, I thought this was nice as the male was looking at the female walk by. Feedback would be appreciated.

I was there last year, you had better light than I did. The deer are cool there, although get bored quickly when they see your food has run out!

For me, there is no focal point in this shot with just an antler and half an eyeball in focus.
