Seriously, I'd read that older copies of this lens were not as good as new ones and my experience so far bears this out, this baby was manufactured in May this year and is waaaay better than the 2003 copy I had before.

Was up there last year, did a wedding in Edinburgh (so spent a few days there) then went across to Oban to finish off the week, wife loved it.

We had a week in Drummore beginning of June, had a week of really good weather, which helped.

Cracking Lens!
I hire one for Safari and had real trouble giving it back afterwards.
So I had to go for it's cheaper cousin, the Sigma 120-400 OS, also very nice

Im just in the process of buying one of these at the minute, but im unsure about a wideangle i want to purchase also, im buying them at the same time so when ive made my mind up about which wideangle ill be purchasing my 100-400 is carnt wait.........
