Delkin Professional LCD Sun Shade for Canon EOS 400D Are they any good Jessops
I know there cheaper from warehouse express its just an example of the model I mean, has anyone got one or used one

WOuldnt you have to keep flipping this up and down between shots to use put your eye to the viewfinder.. then to look at the resulting shot in the lcd?

OK for landscapes but not good for weddings, sports etc
 
From what I've read and heard, from those I know who have used them, they don't make that much difference TBH..

Might be handy if you used liveview, and needed to see the screen, but personally, I wouldn't...

Ant's suggestion is a lot more practical IMO;)
 
I have a 400D and one of those shades things.
I use it very rarely! its a waste of time especailly for the money!
 
My father in law had one on his D40x, I borrowed it for a few days and took it off within an hour, just got in the way, wear a baseball cap, the peak comes in handy for shading the screen if needed.

Currently lost at bottom of camera bag!!!

Waste of £40 if you ask me.

But if anybody's interested please get in touch.
 
I had one on a Canon 20D and it didnt make difference, just protects the scren.
