Dell 2407WFP

So does the 2407WFP, in fact it's a S-IPS not the cheaper E-IPS in the 2209WA ;)
 
I use a 2407 and it is absolutely superb. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
 
It's a pretty good panel, well apart from the absolute dog I had and returned, but not well suited to working with sRGB :(

No the card reader is just that. The monitor has a USB connection to your computer and this connection gives you 4 USB ports plus the card reader.
 
No, it's effectively just a hub and you'll need a USB cable from the screen to the PC for it to work at all.

edit - beaten like a ginger stepchild :(
 
Just as an aside, Dell monitors come with a 3 year warranty. My on/off button broke when it was 2.5 years old I rang them up and next day a chap turned up with a NEW one in a box. I removed the new one and stuck mine back into the box then he drove off. SORTED ! Now thats good service........
