Yes
just looking at these plastic dof calculators and wondered if they are absolutely necessary as they are a little pricey at thirty quid.
is there a cheaper or easier way to get the hyperfocal distance correct for landscapes.
 
there're loads of iphone or android apps. Some (quite a few) are free. :)
