Derwent island from above

Another trip out with the drone. This time to the lakes and derwent water.

Managed this one of derwent island with a snow covered Catbells behind. Would have loved some better light but the reflections sort of made up for it.

That would be amazing in the summer when the trees aren’t bare and brown.

I will be back in autumn when those trees are a myriad of colours.

It’s funny because at ground level there was a breeze and you could get a reflection!!

Thats good, look forward to seeing the autumn version, Saturday the light was a bit better and some reflections were possible from the lakeside until the dog walkers appeared and the opportunity was lost due to the dogs running in and out of the water

Cheers . It was Saturday I was there, about 11am I think. The sun popped out just as I was driving away typically

I’ve always hated dogs.
