Hello all,
I'm currently looking to buy a laptop of the 'desktop replacement' sort and not knowing much about computers these days wondered if anyone could offer some advice? I've done a lot of looking around and have narrowed it down to either:
A Toshiba Satellite P500
or
Sony VAIO EC2
As far as I can figure out, the Toshiba has a slightly faster processor but the Sony has more RAM. 6GB as opposed to 4. I'm not really sure which of these would be more significant to speed. :shrug: The Toshiba has a bigger screen which would be nice.
I'm looking to use it for work mainly, so lots of raw processing.
Can anyone with more knowledge than me see anything in the specs that would make one clearly a better choice?
