Dess Burn Falls

Found this wee gem of a waterfall down a ravine, near Kincardine O' Neil, Royal Deeside, Aberdeenshire, about a year and a half ago and just got around to getting some pics of it.

Was a bit of a perilous descent in frosty conditions but worth it for such a hidden little beauty of a place. Hopefully I've done it a modicum of justice.:shrug:

Great photos. I am in Aberdeen and know that spot well. I almost broke my neck the 1st time I went down there. When the water is lower its possible to get to the island and get some head on shots.

Cheers Michael. I nearly tumbled the first time I grabbed the the (so called) handrail at the top of the ravine. Had it not been for the fact I had a rare and highly polished pair of DM boots on, I'd have been right through the water on to the island. Next time I'll wear a manky pair

No 2 is best for me - nice sweeping curve and the horizontal line is about on a third....

Yep, you've done that a modicum of justice. Quite a big one
Lovely shots, first two are bit too dark on the right for my liking but give (for me) a bit of a mystical look to the whole scene.
