with seconds to spare before an enormous roller broke over the spot where I had stood.

Wow, that's a bootiful bit of rock, mate. I feel the balance is a bit wrong though. I'd like to see a bit more sky poking out from above the rock. Just my opinion though.

I framed it tight at the top so as to emphasise the height of the cliff and keep the focus on the roller, but I can see how a tad more sky would improve the balance. Thanks mate.
