Just reworked an old file in colour this time, the sky had work done in the centre as thats where the sun was so was badly blown

This is a lovely scene. There's a small halo on the mountain tops, can that not be removed with a layer to darken it a bit?

It's only noticeable on a small phone screen with the image compressed anyway.'iPad removes 90% of it. I suppose it does highlight how an image displayed can make a difference to how its perceived.

definitely mate, especially with my vignettes pmp,

its an effect from me desperately trying to recover detail, believe it or not it was a hdr shot too

I really like that, nice muted colours although the halo is quite noticable, as you say though alot of the time it's down to compression etc
