Devon sunsets

Id like to share a couple of shots from my holiday in Devon.
first shot was taken in Combe Martin

and this one on Hound Tor in Dartmoor

Sorry to say that I am not sure about either of these. It's the people breaking the horizon that I find distracting.

I think no 1's a corker, albeit I can't work out why the sky is not more orange... it looks like it should be!

Number two would work better as a silhouette shot if you could PP the bit of flare on the head of the person on the far left.

Great effort though.... Devon wasn't like this in June!!

I like them. #1 is interesting. Have you desaturated it? I like the way the people silhouette in #2 too.

I do like No 2, but agree about the PP. For me, I'd have gone a bit further to the right in No 1 to have got a clear shot of the guys at the boat.

As a rule Im not really a sunset picture person. My intention in these was to silhouette the people to try and give the images a bit more life.
