Hi all, well noticed on a shot the other day some small black dots and thought it would be somthing on the lens, but ive read thats not normally the case, its likely to be dust on sensor... So i set my nifty fifty OOF, F22 and shot at the cloudy sky, this was the outcome.... take it, it needs cleaning? :(

Not sure if im up for the job myself? Unless convinced otherwise, LCE do it instore for £35, whats your thoughts?

Thanks
Andy

Sure dose and look's like it might be a wet clean job as well..

try buying a rocket blower and giving it a good blast with that.

It usually clears my sensor well enough.

If that doesn't get rid, it'll need a wet clean.

yea it's pretty dirty mate tbh. Lock the mirror and give it a good blow (oo err) with a rocket blower (jessops - £8). Did it with my D40 which was a bit less dirty but still not too clean and it left it spotless.

Becareful with the rocket blower, mind you don't blow the crap up into the view finder, as seeing bit's in the view finder will drive you mad.

If your not sure about doing it yourself then take it into the shop to be done.

I used some swabs on mine worked a treat the nice guy in the shop told me which was best and even gave the confidence to give it a go .... they charge £45 or more instore there and he does em so was very good of him ... hope hsi kids like beans:(
