Differences in different year lenses.

Hello TP crew,

I am wondering are there any differences between a 6 year old lens to a new year lens with the latest date code.
The lens i am looking at is a 24-70 2.8 you see and i am wondering if there have ever been updates or anything like that?

There could 'silent' updates e.g. they changed electronic parts suplier or something like that. This is not a public information anyway.

Oh right, well thanks I believe that wouldnt have an impact then if i went ahead with it :)
