Saw one yesterday flying off in a hurry with something in its claws, looked about the size and colour of a Blackbird.

Cracking shots. They need to catch two catch two birds a day but I've seen a few failures,one being a magpie doing about 50mph. with the SH close behind it and it did a 90 degree turn into a a heavily foliaged plum tree and escaped.
