Digital projectors?

I'm not sure if this is the best place for this , but.....

What experience do people have of using digital projectors to present photographs?

for displaying photos? i wouldnt to be honest.

reason being, lighting for starters. youll need pretty much complete darkness, do you want your clients to sit in the dark? otherwise images will be washed out etc.

also white walls, while sounding like a good "canvas" arent ideal for the best picture. dedicated projector screens are more reflective for the best picture.

That's what I suspected, Neil, but if anyone else can back this up I'd like to hear their comments as well.

I need to present some evidence to a "client".

camera clubs use them all the time for showing pics so nothing wrong wiht the concept.... but as said.. you need curtains shut, darkness and a proper screen
