I have a few queries that I wouldn't mind someone answering? If possible, much appreciative.

Are they any different between a camera I'd purchase from Hong Kong and one I'd purchase in the UK? If so, what are they.

Will any camera shops in the UK touch an imported camera, for repairs or anything?

Will Nikon touch an imported camera, if the repairal is a big jobby?

Will UK companies insure an imported cam?

Any help much appreciated thanks.

Depends, if you get a receipt for duty and vat paid Nikon might honour the guarantee but don't worry about it DR have a UK address you can send faulty goods to if you need to get an under guarantee repair done. They will arrange to get it repaired for you.

Insurance companies don't need to know where you bought it, only the value.
