dont know wheather to buy the nikon 28-300 ? for a bit of extra reach and a wider end
of buy the nikon tc1.7 to put on my nikon 70-200 2.8 ! + buy a another lens for wider angles ?
any advice appreciated.

I'd be inclined to go with the latter option. The 28-300 is an f/3.5 -5.6.

get a 24 to 70.
superzooms are just for when you need to not change lens.
if you on a crop body get a 17 to 50
