Dipper

A quick dipper shot with the Sony A7R5 and Sigma 100-400 lightweight set-up at Matlock Bath, yesterday.

Most people here will know that dippers are a bit tricky to photograph, given the contrast between the bib and the rest of the head and body. This is my excuse, anyway, for having some blown highlights in the image below !

Sharpness etc of this lens looks ok though.

Nice shot! Could the image be brightened a tad?

Thanks for the comment; below is a slightly brighter version of the overall image.

The first image represents the actual scene better as this was shot in a shady river (Derwent) valley with dull light.

I think the second image probably looks a bit better than the original though
