Ok, it is the first time that I have a problem with dust on the sensor. I have not kit to clean it, but no money to buy one or give it to professional cleaning as well. My idea was that maybe there is a member of this forum who has one of these little blowers or however you call it and knows how to use it and wouldn't mind to meet me in Glasgow for 10min to "blow my sensor"... however dirty it sounds

Unless you guys know how to un-dust the sensor without this type of equipment. Thanks

Flash: I was hoping for the meet in city centre. I am at work tomorrow (city centre) so I could pop out for an hour, but this is a bit too far not having a car. I guess there is no chance to meet you in the city centre on your way to/from the meet?

Thanks

Ok, maybe stupidly but I was so annoyed by the price of the professional cleaning comparing to the price of my camera that I took cotton buds, locked the mirror and looked inside the camera. I could clearly see all three particles (two white one black :)). I touched each of them and they stacked to the bud. Now, at f22 not even a spot. Like I said, maybe stupidly but lucky :) Recommended but not advised:)

£30 I think - I had mine done last July.

i couldnt get mine clean.so i took it in a shop yesterday i asked how long they said within the hour.
by the time i had zipped up my camerabag they bought my camera back out £40 less than 5 mins thats a well paid job...

rediculas how much they charge just for blowing into it, giving it a brush and maybe using some pec pads.

i was willing to pay if it was specialist cleaning.after he showed me what he used was just visible dust they sold in the shop.
