DIY Pano head possible?

Looking at panoramic heads for doing complete 360s inside and out, they're not to dissimilar to my gimbal head (based on wimberely)

It's got the height adjuster, and if you could get a tripod collar for a wide angle (or make an arcs swiss T-piece for connecting to a camera) - it would go forwards and backwards, so I'd of thought would it work?

Anyone done this?

well, i didn't even know what is a pano head so i googled it.

he's last update seems possible but i don't understand how he gets the pivoting bolt to be not to tight but not to loose

you could get a long arca swiss plate off ebay, that willgive you good for aft travel, to get camera in the right spot

Straightfoward? Depend who's doing it. With my two left hand, I probably don't do a great job at this.
