Had a go at making a diy softbox, and its turned out quite well. i used tinfoil lining the inside, and just a piece of paper over the front. two cereal boxes for the main structure.
it loses a couple stops of light, but for close up stuff its fine...
id like to see if anyone else has made any thing similar.
