Has anyone got one of these yet? If so, is it any good and is it much of an improvement from a Pocket 3?

I have a Pocket 3, and the one change in the specs that caught my attention was the improved resolution of photos, ~33MPix(16:9) instead of ~9.4MPix. Otherwise it seems like only incremental upgrades.

The 33MP jump is great on paper if you do a lot of cropping or printing, but for video-first users, it’s definitely more of an incremental step. If your Pocket 3 is still handling your daily shots fine, you might not feel a massive difference in the actual 'look' of the footage. I'd only grab it if that specific resolution bump solves a bottleneck for you

I haven't really used mine for photos, apart from some initial testing. Obviously if I have a regular camera with me I prefer that, but otherwise I tend to reach for my phone. I've been on the lookout for a more pocketable camera so having one device is appealing if it is genuinely better than a mid/high end phone for photos.

It depends on mainly if the video is noticeably cleaner in real life. Also i would investigate if 3 has significant distortion correction (open raw in affinity to check) vs 4.
Rumor has it insta is working on dual camera equivalent and dji has similar version in the waiting

Bottom line is upgrade if current one is lacking something important
