Has any fitted the fk-17m to the d800 and do you need the eye rubber (dk-19)

I had one, it made the D800 much easier to see for me! I didn't need the eye rubber

Do you get much light bleed without the rubber

I've got the DK-17M and the DK-19.

I use the DK-19 whether the DK-17M is fitted or not - it reduces light intrusion in both cases.

Btw, if you buy both, there's only one way to fit the DK-19 to the DK-17M properly - it's not very obvious from Nikon's instructions so I did a 'How To'. Let me know if you need it.
