..or not - here's my stuff list
Nikon D40 with battery grip
Tamron 11-18 --------------to come maybe ?
50mm AF f2
Sigma 17-70 f2.8 - 4.5 Macro
Nikon 55-200 AF-S VR ----- may replace with 70-300VR
good solid Manfrotto tripod
P filter ND Grad for Sigma
here's my dilemma after reading all the posts about fast lens, big ISO, mega pixels, video etc
IT'S THIS - I really want to concentrate on landscapes, maybe few "snaps" of the nieces. And I think I may be in the trap of many newcomers - swept up with all the talk of super kit lists
D90 - dont need the high ISO. held one - not enamored!
Nikon f2.8 lens series - not shooting dim light
400-500 and TCs - not shooting birds
D200 - will cost me £250 on top of the D40 body
probably know the answer - but like to hear some views ? thanks
BIG favour - would anyone post some D40 landscapes - no processing cos I dont do that well. Nice to see what can be done. I remember a post with some incredible D40 shots of Glasgow architecture at night. Thanks
