Yeah, I wonder that, and usually wish I was up there off somewhere hot and sunny! Is that one taken at sunset?

yes about 4pm sun had got very low but at the height it was the sun highlighted the jetstream

Lovely shot.

I was taking pictures of these while waiting on the sun set tonight aswell. It's great watching them trail across the sky.

yes they stand out really well against a nice sunset or sunrise

there were a few but this one had the shortest tail so i was able to get it all in shot

its great when you catch a couple of them in a sunset, really sets the sky off I think.

Just had alook through the ones i took today and this ones odd, i've zoomed in and there's no plane at the front of the jet stream lol....spooky.
