Sounds like just another rights grab from a company to get free images under the disguise of a competition to me. :(

Seems slightly strange that they don't even specify what the actual prize will me? Prizes from the 2009 Vango Collection could be a spare set of tent pegs and a rubber mallet. If they were offering a decent prize like a £300 tent plus a load of extras then it would be worth entering and allowing them to use your image for whatever they wanted.

I'm off camping tomorrow for a week and I'll have my camera with my. I'll enter loads of pics of me and the family enjoying my holiday in my Wynnster tent and see if Vango want to use it in thier marketing material.

there are 2 sections, a with vango and a without vango so I would imagine the without vango section would be excluded from the marketing comp..

we are Outwell people but have had Vango in the past, might dig out some old photos :D, nothing to stop you taking pics of other peoples Vango's LOL
 
Oh yes do I want to go taking photos to enter a competition to win an undefined prize.... errr let me think for a nano second... No I damm well dont, let them pay for their pics like everybody else.
 
I'm going to create a competition.

Big companies send me their products and ideas, and the best one gets a free photograph. Of my choice.

By sending me their products and ideas they agree to fully release the copyright and patent of the product/idea, allow me to re-sell, claim as mine, and mass produce.
 
way I see it is a) I like camping and b) I like taking photos so while I am combining a & b if I happen to take a prize worthy photo that aswell as getting a prize is going to be used as promotion material I must say, as a hobby togger I would be pretty chuffed..
 
Well I'm off to Swanage in the morning with my little ones, I also have a Vango tent so let me see.........:thinking: Vango tent, kids, Swanage.....I can see a set of tent pegs coming my way :D

Photographs without Vango products​

So me and the family and dog will be off in our Colemans tent next weekend. I will take load of pictures, we of course stand a very real chance of seeing my images in the 'Vango 2010 marketing campaigns' think about it.......:bonk:
