Some 'technical terms' we frequently use in the office for situations like this:
Knackered
buggered
shagged
cream crackered
cattle trucked
jiggered
scuppered
gumphed
kicked the bucket
chucked in the towel
f***ed
or sometimes, a simple 'its had it, mate' does the trick! :nuts:

Obviously you never watched "blue peter" then.... as they always had some sticky back plastic hanging around - and they built stuff at that as well
yeah i used to watch it most of the time
, i only had duck tape lying around so had to use that and it does work well sort of
