Sandisk 4GB SD Card that's now cream crackered :D

Bit of duck tape and right as rain:)

I love SD cards ... they are only a fiver to replace when they die unlike CF cards!

don't you have to open them to get the pictures out? :cuckoo:

Got it.....

...it's f****d :p

Some 'technical terms' we frequently use in the office for situations like this:

Knackered
buggered
shagged
cream crackered
cattle trucked
jiggered
scuppered
gumphed
kicked the bucket
chucked in the towel
f***ed

or sometimes, a simple 'its had it, mate' does the trick!

I fixed it to a point where it can be read on the computer to get the pics off it.

I think Mcguyver would be proud :D

When you posted the thread, I was really hoping I'd open it to find an old and tired 386...

Obviously you never watched "blue peter" then.... as they always had some sticky back plastic hanging around - and they built stuff at that as well :p

yeah i used to watch it most of the time :D, i only had duck tape lying around so had to use that and it does work well sort of :whistling:

I'd be interested to know if that was stuck back together - if it would still work...

Only thing is, would you want to stick it into a £few worth of camera to test it to find out... No is the answer to borrowing mine to see if anyone mentions it :suspect:

I don't see how it could still work...surely the light will have got in and overexposed all of the pictures.
