Do you use specialist cameras?

Do you have any cameras (not just lenses) used only for specialist roles?

Yes
Over the years I've built up a range of specialist cameras (most very cheap £10-£100).
While the image quality of most of these are somewhat limited SOOC they can give results that are next to impossible with a standard camera.
I certainly wouldn't go swimming with my interchangable lens cameras, & they not much help for inspecting a blocked pipe either...

In some cases post processing allows resolution boosts that make images far more usable.
For example my digital microscope (<£100) was with the aid of stitching software able to create an image of a 1mm Daphnia that prints to A4 comfortably (It's downsized on Flickr)

What specialist cameras do you have?
I haven't got half way through the selected options yet - but I have two watched that will take me over halfway when I go for them

Yes to rather too many of the options! Some have seen little use, others get a lot. I have a couple of others that don't fit any of the above specialities as well...

does a Canon M100 count ?;)
Not if it's your everyday camera but If you got for a specialist role, yes - feel free to explain.

AFAIK it's not water proof, or exceptionally small/light... but I'm sure I've not covered all the options for specialization.

I knew I wouldn't be the only one
At the risk of extending my wish list, do tell the other specialities.
I've realized I missed off a drone, but I'm sure there are plenty more :)

Selfies.

There are people who take more selfies than breaths.
I'm not sure if they're GOOD for that, but I guess easily adequate for the sharing they do with the images.

For most people they're good for having a camera when you wouldn't otherwise have bothered. Though I'm more likely to have a camera with me - I don't get so many annoying interruptions that way :)
