Hi guys

Just wondering if anyone could give me any help with a documentary class ive got at college.
This brief is a self initiated brief which we have to do 10 images documenting something, anything of our choice

I have NO idea what I could possible pick for ten images.

Maybe have a look at my website to have a look at any photography fields im good at and suggest something for me

I do ;)

A couple of ideas for you Lucy. Your most recent stuff has been fairly fashion oriented so how about a documentary of fashion over a time period? 60's through to now? 50 year period?

Or, how about using some of the skills you have in shooting flowers and leave the setup in place for 10 days and take an image a day at the same time and document the decay of the flower?

Come on now, that's you started, get yer brain into gear! ;)

Thanks guys for the suggestions :D
I'm liking the idea of the flower set-up, would be fairly easy, as long as you can take the image at one certain time of the day every day I think it would work fairly well.
I may also may try a documentary of ten people and just a image of their palm of their hand. I think that would be interesting, and do them in black and white, maybe with a slight texture over them?

Sounds boring, or quite interesting?

My interpretation of Documentary photography is that you tell a story of a person or an event rather that just 10 pictures. So if you took a fashion theme it might be everything from the designer working on the clothes, the models backstage, the audience and the actual event.

If it was more nature based perhaps "A day in the life of a woodland/field/farm"
