I have had my camer for under 6 months know and over the last month its stop focusing sharply ive check the lens on another camera and they ar fine been in touch with canon and they say it needs recalibration and I need to send it for repair my question is should i not be offered a replacement rather than having a 6 month old camera repair just like some opinions
 
I would be fine with the re-calibration. Mine came back working a treat after said treatment in elstree. if you are still not happy after then by all means push for a new body!

Is it just through the viewfinder it looks out of focus, have you tried the diopter wheel? It happens more then you'd think.

Or are the actual final images not in focus.

Hope it gets sorted.
