Does anyone know a good independent lens repair person?

As the title says.

I have bought a used zoom that needs looking at. It has been to Nikon, but don’t want to pay their prices. I know of several bigger repairers such as Fixation etc, but I am looking for a an independent person with lower overheads that can give a reasonable quote.

Any suggestions?
