This is an interesting thread. A week ago I'd probably have the thought that photographing a funeral would be a decent idea if done tastfully and discretely.
But since a tragic death in my family this week my train of thought has changed. I now thinking that I just couldn't imagine picking up my camera to document the funeral.
Even hiring a person feels really weird. I think it depends on whom has passed too.
I'm my situation, photographs would be defo insensitive.
