Does anyone use a Manfrotto MN222 Joystick head on a monopod?

Just wondering if anyone does & whats your thoughts - good or bad :shrug:

Was thinking of getting one instead of using the Manfrotto 234RC QR head

Very bad! I have two 222 heads and they just do not work unless the platform is stable which a monopod just isn't.

bad. Normal ball head or the 234RC (which I use). I also have a 322RC2 grip ball head which is much better than a 222 on a monopod but still feels like you're going to have an expensive accident real soon.

Just as well I din't go ahead & order one - cheers for that guys - just saved me £50+

Actually you CAN turn the camera vertical on it. At least I do
