Does anyone use a PD Slide strap as a bag strap?

Just wondering if anyone does this. Ive just got a small camera bag for my Canon M50 and a couple of small lenses, so the bag will probably weigh no more than my 5D4 with 100-400 which can easily hang off the Slide safely.

I just like the feel of these straps and i dont like the one that came with the bag. I have other bag straps i can use, but i also have a spare Slide.

In theory it will work, but if anyone has tried and failed to do this I’d be interested in hearing why it didn’t work.

yep, well its a small bag designed for camera and one attached lens-basically like a camera holster. it works very well and much better that the original strap

I use one with a Think Tank holster with lens pouch (70-300) hanging off the side. Works a treat.
